The Keating Center offers a variety of services: A three-month in-house rehab program in which residents attend group meetings facilitated by experienced recovering alcoholics. Residents must get an sponsor and attend 12-step meetings every night.
Once residents complete the in-house program, they advance to our three-quarter house program. They work so they can financially help themselves, but still be part of the center’s supervised program. They attend seven mandatory 12-step meetings each week, as a reminder “that staying sober must come first.” Also three-quarter house residents attend mandatory after-care meetings once a week.
The Keating Center offers a work release program. Clients live in a structured, sober environment, go to work, and attend 12-step meetings in the evening. Proceeds from the work release program help to subsidise the operation of our other sober living facilities.
